Conrad Wolfram lecture at the Faculty of Physics UW

Conrad Wolfram, a world-class expert in technology and mathematics education, will give a lecture at the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw on Tuesday, 25 March 2025, at 2 p.m. in the Faculty Council Room. Conrad Wolfram is a British mathematician, entrepreneur and technology innovator. He is co-founder and, since 1991, CEO of Wolfram Research Europe Ltd. In 1996, he additionally took on the position of director of strategy and international affairs at Wolfram Research, Inc, gaining responsibility for Wolfram Research Asia Ltd. Both are part of the global Wolfram Research consortium.
Conrad Wolfram is a respected expert on information technology and mathematics education reform. In June 2020, he published the book The Math(s) Fix: An Education Blueprint for the AI Age, which sets out his vision for modern mathematics education in the age of artificial intelligence. He played a key role in the development of interactive publishing technology, resulting in the creation of the Computable Document Format (CDF). He is actively involved in developing innovative technologies to support learning and education.
