The 19th Congress of the Polish Biophysical Society (PTBF2025) was held on 23-26 June 2025 at the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw. The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Rectors of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Professor Michał Zasada, and the University of Warsaw, Professor Alojzy Z. Nowak, with the support of the Institute of Biology of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, the Faculty of Physics of the University of Warsaw and the Institute of Experimental Physics of the University of Warsaw.

The congress brought together about 160 participants - outstanding researchers and young scientists from Poland and abroad - offering a rich scientific programme. It included 11 thematic sessions, 65 lectures, three interactive workshops, and a poster session, during which 57 papers were presented.

Participants were able to present their research results in the following 11 thematic panels: Nanomedicine - biophysical aspects, Life-Essential Biomolecules, Biophysics of Biological Systems: From Cell to Tissues, Medicinal Biophysics, Ion Channels in Cell Biophysics, Medical Significance of Proteins and Nucleic Acids, Spectroscopy - Ideas, Methods, and Applications in Life Science, Biosensing and Microfluidic Systems for Disease Biomarkers Detection in Biomedical Research, Mitochondrial Biophysics, Protein Dynamics, Disorder, and Phase Separation, and Theoretical, Computational, and Data-Driven Advances in Biophysics.
