On the other side of Brieskorn spheres
Negative-definite plumbed manifolds form a relatively simple class of 3-manifolds for which Z-hat invariants, or homological blocks, admit an explicit description in terms of the plumbing data. In this talk we will discuss what is expected from their orientation reversals, generally referred to as “the other side”. We shall focus on a special case of small surgery on (s,t) torus knot, which is a Brieskorn homology sphere of type (s,t,rst±1). Based on arXiv:2508.10087.
