Reaction Studies from below to well above the Coulomb Barrier energies
In this presentation, a series of experimental studies designed to explore the dynamics of nuclear reactions in heavy systems will be discussed. The work spans detector and target development, current investigations of reaction mechanisms through systematic studies of processes such as quasi-elastic scattering, fission fragment mass distribution, and pre- and post scission neutron emission. These efforts collectively enhance our understanding of how nuclear deformation, energy dissipation, and characteristic timescales influence nuclear behavior in different reaction channels. Emphasis will be placed on the experimental methodologies, advanced detector techniques, and systematic analyses employed, highlighting their broader implications for advancing our understanding of nuclear structure and reaction dynamics across diverse mass regions.
