Nonadiabatic Perturbation Theory
Nonadiabatic Perturbation Theory (NAPT) is the perturbative expansion method around the Born-Oppenheimer approximation that systematically accounts for finite-nuclear-mass effects in molecular spectra, as well as in the electric and magnetic properties of molecular systems. We will present the general formalism and applications to the hydrogen molecule, where finite-nuclear-mass effects are expected to be the most significant.
