I will present the method of constructing retarded and advanced Green's function using the Laplace transform. The presented method turns out to be applicable to a wide variety of spacetimes with event horizons – ranging from the extended Rindler wedge to the Kerr spacetime. Crucially, the method uses the horizon itself to match and extend non-smooth solutions across it.
