Relating the baryon asymmetry to "WIMP miracle"dark matter
It is well-known that the observed mass densities of baryons and dark matter in the Universe are similar. It is also known that particles with weak-scale masses and weak-strength interactions can naturally account for the observed dark matter via their thermal relic densities, the so-called "WIMP miracle". If this is the correct explanation for dark matter, how can the baryon density be related to a thermal relic WIMP density? We discuss a number of approaches to this question.
