Waveguide photonic circuits for the generation and manipulation of entangled photon pairs
We propose and analyze different kinds of photonic waveguidecircuits for efficient generation and manipulation of entangled photonpairs through spontaneous parametric down conversion (SPDC) process.Depending upon the kind of the down conversion process considered, thegenerated bi-photon state can be entangled on polarization, spatial mode or path degree of freedom. We further propose schemes to achieve an on-demand switchability in the desired degree of freedom. In this talk, I will present a few of these waveguide designs.
