Finitely summable Fredholm modules for boundary actions of hyperbolic groups
I will describe some finitely summable Fredholm modules for thecrossed product C*-algebra associated to the action of a hyperbolicgroup on its boundary. These Fredholm modules represent a natural anddistinguished K-homology class; in particular, the Fredholm modules weconstruct are almost always non-trivial.This is joint work with Heath Emerson.
