Seminarium Teorii Oddziaływań Elementarnych

In the context of searches for supersymmetry, we discuss the importance of a correct statistical treatment of experimental data while trying to makerobust statements about the validity of a theoretical model. We overview afew different aproaches and introduce the main concepts of Bayesianstatistics. Finally, we present results from global Bayesian analyses ofconstrained supersymmetry that include the most updated experimentallimits from direct and indirect SUSY searches.
