Seminarium Teorii Oddziaływań Elementarnych

In this talk I will introduce the Fermi-LAT instrument and summarize the recent results of the LAT Collaboration on astrophysical sources of high energy radiation. The summary will include Galactic objects such as binary systems, novae and supernova remnants, but also extragalactic systems such as starforminga and active galaxies, gamma-ray bursts, or finally clusters of galaxies. I will discuss how the recent LAT results provide a novel insight into the problem of the origin of the observed cosmic rays, and particle acceleration in astrophysical plasma in general.
