Seminarium Teorii Oddziaływań Elementarnych

The LHCb experiment has collected the world's largest samples of beauty and charmed hadrons in pp collisions at the LHC. Selected precision measurements of CP violating observables in the mixing and decay of B and D mesons will be presented. Results from several decay modes will be discussed with complementary time-dependent and time-integrated analyses. These results provide excellent opportunities to search for possible contributions from New Physics beyond the Standard Model. The results on B and D very rare decay processes into muon pairs obtained on data recorded in 2011 and 2012 will be also presented as well as new searching for CP violation in three-body charm decays. The studies on quantum numbers of the exotic X(3872) state which are a test of QCD models will be also presented.
