Energy landscapes of proteins in lattice models
We present the results of exact numerical studies of the energy landscapeand the dynamics of a 12-monomer chain with contact interactions encodingthe ground state on a square lattice. In spite of its simplicity, themodel is shown to exhibit behavior at odds with the standard picture ofproteins.
