Środowiskowe Seminarium z Informacji i Technologii Kwantowych

I will describe the five most natural quantizations of a symplectic vector space:the x-p, p-x, Wick, anti-Wick and Weyl(-Wigner) quantizations, whose relationships can be expressed by the so-called Berezin diagram. I will comment on the central role played by the Weyl quantization. There are at least two aspects of this role -- higher symmetry group (the symplectic invariance) and better error terms in the semiclassical approximation.
