Evolution equations

I will present the abstract theory for the integration of non-autonomous (linear) evolution equations d/dt u(t) = A(t) u(t) in a Banach space setting. In particular I will discuss the construction of the evolution operator (also called the time-ordered product). Some applications to PDEs in physics will be given. If time permits, I will also remark on the quasi-linear case.
