Gibbs measure and high temperature equilibrium Bose gases

The nonlinear Gibbs measure plays an important role in Euclidean Quantum Field Theory in 1970s-80s, and since the works of Bourgain in 1990s the measure has been used widely to study nonlinear Schrodinger evolution with rough initial data, as well as nonlinear dissipative stochastic equations. I will discuss a rigorous derivation of the Gibbs measure from equilibrium states of Bose gases, in a high temperature/mean-field limit. The talk is based on recent joint work with Mathieu Lewin and Nicolas Rougerie.
