Beta-decay measurements with Total Absorption gamma-ray Spectroscopy at IGISOL
In the last decades three experimental campaigns with Total Absorption gamma-ray Spectroscopyhave been performed at IGISOL (Finland). The most recent one employed for the first time the Decay Total Absorption Spectrometer (DTAS), a segmented detector made of NaI(Tl) that was designed for FAIR. In thisseminar an overview of the results obtained with DTAS at IGISOL for neutron-rich nuclei and their impactwill be presented. Some examples are the improvement of reactor antineutrino and decay heat summationcalculations, as well as the investigation of gamma-ray emission above the neutron separation threshold inbeta-delayed neutron emitters.
