Random G-circulant matrices. Spectrum of random convolution operators on large finite groups
I will describe the asymptotic behaviour of spectral measures of random G-circulant matrices, i.e., matrices corresponding to convolutions with random functions on a finite (not necessarily Abelian) group, when the order of the group tends to infinity. If time permits I will also mention asymptotic freeness for collections of independent random matrices and central limit theorems for linear eigenvalue statistics.
