Weyl laws for singular potentials
Weyl laws give a precise description of the high energy behaviour of eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of Schrödinger operators describing trapped quantum particles (non-interacting fermions). In this talk I will recall these laws, their applications and their history. I will also describe a recent work done in collaboration with Rupert Frank (Caltech/Munich) that explains how these laws are modified when introducing a singular external potential.
