Antiferromagnetic Hysteresis above the Spin Flop Field
Antiferromagnetic spintronics treats the magnetocrystalline anisotropy as the criticalparameter that governs preferable magnetic configurations and is constant for a giventemperature. Here, the study of spin Hall magnetoresistance of the thin film antiferromagneticCoO with adjacent Pt will be presented. It reveals clear spin flop transition in 7 T at 240 K andthe unexpected hysteretic behavior above the spin flop field persisting up to 30 T in the angulardependence of magnetoresistance. This can be interpreted by the magnetic anisotropy thatshould necessarily depend on the external magnetic field strength most likely due to theunquenched orbital momentum. This would explain the unique behavior within thin film CoOantiferromagnetic materials, which may strongly affect the understanding of the physics ofantiferromagnets and their electrical control.UwagaSeminarium w trybie zdalnympatrz instrukcja :instrukcja: (pdf file)AttentionThe seminar in the remote modesee instruction :instruction: (pdf file)
