"Nanoparticle resonators - insights into fundamental properties and applications"
A nanoparticle antenna localizes the electromagnetic field in its vicinity, amplifying its intensity and proportionally increasing the efficiency of physical processes which depend of light. These properties stem from the shape, size, material, and environment and can be rationally tuned to investigate both fundmental properties of materials, as well as utilize nanoantennas in novel devices.
