Three-dimensional structure of the nucleon from lattice QCD
Last years have brought a breakthrough in the lattice QCD calculations of x-dependent partonic distributions, such as generalized parton distributions (GPDs). GPDs are key distributions to describe the three-dimensional structure of the nucleon and they are a subject of intense and increasing theoretical, phenomenological and experimental interest in the last years. In this talk, I will first discuss the generalities of the lattice approach and then review the progress in numerical investigations of all leading-twist as well as some examples of twist-3 GPDs.
